After Michael’s first night out with his co-workers, it became clear to him that he needed to start writing measurements down if he wanted to be sure to hold onto them. He had initially been averse to the idea, but losing an entire day’s progress proved to be far too frustrating. He definitely didn’t want to have a repeat of that night’s losses, so he established a system that would let him write down the measurements without drawing suspicion.
After taking the weekend to consider how to deal with the matter, he decided to have a tailor sew hidden pockets sewn inside of all of his pants. He wanted to make sure that his regular pockets were empty of anything incriminating so that it could never accidently be exposed. So starting the following Tuesday, he brought a small notepad with him in his hidden pocket when he went to work and he kept put a pen in his shirt pocket. For the most part his method didn’t change, and he simply memorized the measurements until he could go to the toilet and write them down before stowing the measurements back into his hidden pocket.
Michael’s new system only allowed him to write down his measurements a few times a day, so he was still forced to hold quite a lot in his head in the interim. Still, it was enough to ease the clutter in his mind, and, therefore, many of his worries. And because he didn’t have to try to keep everything grouped together in his mind for eight right hours, he was even able to adjust his methods to be more surreptitious.

...In high school, I participated in several clubs that included community service projects. I was in the Spanish club, and am learning French on my own. And I speak German fairly well. These make me a good candidate for your school....
I believe my passion for languages will be an asset to my pursuit of an international administration degree. I am fluent in Spanish, and served as president of the Spanish club for two years. One of my roles was to help incoming Spanish-speaking students successfully transition to an English-speaking high school.
I also am nearly fluent in German and am currently learning French. Being fluent in four languages, along with a degree from your university, will prepare me for a successful and effective career in international administration...
